Sundarbans are the 52nd world heritage site. It is situated in the southern part of Bangladesh. The Bay of Bangal is adjacent to the Sundarbans. It is renowned for its natural beauty and wild life. It is also known as mangrove forest. 'Sundaree' trees are abundant in the Sundarbans and this is the reason of its being named Sundarbans .
