Which Tablet Do You Want This Holiday Season?

2013 was a rich year for tablets. Google, Samsung, Apple, Amazon and Microsoft all released new entries into their existing lines, while Nokia entered the market with its first tablet, a Windows alternative to Microsoft's Surface.

While tablets are not as widespread as smartphones, they continued to rise in popularity throughout this year. A study released in July suggested that one in three adult Americans now owns a tablet, with that number rising to roughly 50% among 35- to 44-year olds.
Several new tablets caught our editors' eyes this year, with the iPad Mini Retina, the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, the iPad Air, the Surface Pro 2 and the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 all receiving our Mashable Choice seal of approval.
