Have you ever dreamed of printing your favorite meals and treats? Never want to taste a burnt cookie or crunchy noodle again? It could become a reality thanks to the Foodini, a 3D food printer. Developed by Natural Machines, this printer can make any dish as long as you load the appropriate ingredient cartridges. The best part is that the device is small and sleek enough to fit on your kitchen counter, about the size of a microwave.

Game controllers can be hard to handle for those with disabilities, not to mention how easy it is to throw them across the room in a fit of game-induced rage. Forget the handheld hardware — there's a way to play games with your eyes. Tobii has designed a currently unnamed device that will allow users to shoot pixelated bad guys just by looking at them on the screen. While not all games may be suitable for eye-tracking controls, developers can use this gadget to make games more interactive.
The U.S. will stop manufacturing and importing 40 and 60 watt light bulbs in 2014. Have no fear, LED light technology is now available to the public, similar to the lights developed for astronauts by NASA. They are more energy efficient than incandescent bulbs and more environmentally friendly than fluorescent bulbs. Lighting Science, a company that makes these new lighting units, also created bulbs designed to help you fall asleep or stay awake.
