If you feel like your beard could use a little intergalactic makeover, there is definitely a Tumblr for that.
Joshua Arters' cosmic blog Space Beards: The Facial Frontier turns your ordinary terrestrial beard into a magnificent, celestial nebula. Arters collects images of shaggy celebrities and followers' submissions to create portraits as remarkable as the planets themselves.

"There are already all kinds of space Tumblr blogs like Sloths in Space, Cats in Space, all the usual Internet-worthy stuff. It seems like beards are really a big deal lately, so I figured, why not combine them? It seriously is Tumblr gold," said Arters.
The site, Arters says, began as a joke — one that has yet to run out of material. In addition to the Photoshop masterpieces, the site features modified "quotes" from celebrities about space. One from Nick Offerman reads, "You know, it’s hard to beat bacon at anytime of day. But I also am a big fan of [space].”
But Tumblr users take their "sp-acial hair" pretty seriously, and Space Beards has become so popular that Arters is putting a cap on requests. While he appreciates the overwhelming support, the blog is currently unable to accept anything but "spacified submissions." In other words, fans will have to Photoshop their own beards for now in order to be featured on the site.
