O, February twenty first!
Whenever I yearned for you
You stood by my side
To quell my hunger and my thirst.

When I yearned for you
During captivity by chain of prison
And by torture without any reason,
And when the pain made me to scream,
It was a dream
To see you floating through the cloud
To stand by my side, strong and stout.

Oh my twenty first!
To quell my hunger and quench my thirst
Whenever I longed for you.
You came at once; with a view
To keep your chest on that of mine
And both as patriots we combined.

I divided my mind to thee
With inspiring mirth and jollity;
And again when the airs arround were serene
Both as one had alone been;
And again
When I wanted your presence
During natural calamity and danger
You never remained a stranger.
And during black moon disaster cyclone
When its victims mourn and mourn
And by eclipse of light the places darkened
And when I became horribly frightened
And was overcome by thirst
You rushed to my rescue
Very fast and very fast.

O, Twenty first!
We straitened our distance
And merged us into one
And quelled our mental thirst.
O, twenty first, O twenty first.
O, my twenty first,
You rushed to me pushing aside
All the strength of stream, like a rush,
That could not be obstructed
By any human mights;
For good creation you rushed to me
For creating an ecstacy.

I got you at sleep breaking dawn
When, beside my window the crows fawned
Making tumultuous welcome
To the glowing rising sun.
While sparrows were dumb founded.
And, then crying, asking for the sun to come.

O, my twenty first!
What a crossmatching of all was
To quell my hunger and my thirst.
It was best
That I got you near my breast.
In my hilarity of ceaseless colour of thing.
I also got you at the end of spring
In the violent conflagration of its string.
Lovely diffusion of every being.

I also felt you on my chest
When the blooming buds of
Shajina and mango
Blossomed with ego
In a manner which seemed the best.

I wanted you in secret
In my dark and well protected bed.
In the midst of my pride, instead
Of keeping you in fright
In the depth of my solitary night.

I wanted you in my thought and breath
And in my horripilation, when
The hairs of the body are erected
In exitement and thrill of joy, then
Again in my existence; and when
I am incited by the influence
Of mirth and jollity,
Leading me to the stage of frailty
To completely merge me with you
To give you, O twenty first
All your dues with utmost humility;
That was my duty.

Oh my twenty first!
You were just
A child in mothers lap
Or one enjoing innocent pleasure
In the craddle with babies cap
This was placed by all my endeavour
And you started tripping to come as my dear, too near.
I got you,
In every step of my life.
In my soul and in my tongue
Through all my constraining strife.
I got you in all my struggles to live
With my wealth and prosperity,
Opulance, dignity and divinity
In my joys, sorrows and piety
And in the sphere of my total life
And in its totality.
You drove me up, up and up
On the mountain of liberty.
Liberty, Liberty and Liberty.
