M Abdullah, a brave journalist of The Daily Amardesh, experienced a fatal terrorist attack on December 20, 2009 after filing a report of corruption regarding influential people who frequently play important role in decision making by the existing Govt.
Ministers nakedly threatened the editor and the next day the journalist was under the attack. The law enforcing authority was also unwilling to received the diary of the victim. The chronicles of the incident clearly show that the press men are entirely insecured if they report against the flaw of Govt. The division of unity is also vivid amongst the pressmen. Most of the news leading papers did not put emphasis on this incident. The entire situation is worsening day by day. The Govt. is very much reactive to the critics. Its followers are more than that. Some of the medias are also blindly following the Govt. Law and order situation is beyond control and Press is also at peril under the regime of such a political party who have ascended to the power vowing freed of press.
