Trainee programme starts!

Every 18 months some 20 graduates from across the world enter the Telenor Global Trainee Programme. This January, young and educated people worldwide will again get a chance to apply for this unique international business training and work experience.

What is the trainee programme about
During 18 months, trainees work on number of different projects, and in different teams, sometimes different countries, to get diverse work experience and a chance to broaden their horizons professionally, personally and internationally. It is a solid foundation to a future career in Telenor or in other organisations. At the same time, Telenor invests in new talents and develops future global capacities for the Telenor Group.

Through the programme, trainees build their networks and get understanding of the business and markets. Personal development is based on coaching and mentoring, frequent feedback from peers and superiors and trainee seminars which are held 5 times during the programme.

If you know someone who is between 23 and 27 years old, holds a master degree and has not worked for more than one year in total, remember to let them know about this opportunity.

Who can apply
- Age 23 - 27
- Minimum Masters degree
- Maximum 1 year work experience
- Excellent academic record
- Excellent English spoken and written
- Nationalities primarily from: Norway, Sweden, Montenegro, Hungary, Serbia, Malaysia, Pakistan

Candidates of all nationalities are welcome to apply but must choose to work in one of the countries mentioned above.

The application period is from 10 January - 1 February; the programme starts in September 2009.
