though m a teenager i m also very keen to learn guitar.when i started my teacher 1st told me the name of the guitar strings.there r 6 strings .they are plucked or strummed to cause the strings to vibrate, producing sound..the strings are named individually.. like the thinnest 1 is named as 'e' and it is the highest pitch string.the thickest 1 which is the low pitch string is named as 'E'..String diameters should gradually go from thick to thin..ceiling to floor,low to high in pitch nd string name "E' to "e'.the 'e' string is numbered 1 nd the 'E' string is numbered 6.so now the name of the 6 strings are, the 6th one is 'E',5th one is 'A' ,4th one is 'D' ,3rd one is 'G',2nd one is 'B' And the last one is named 'e'.You can remember them easily by memorizing this sentence "Elephants And Donkeys Grow Big Ear" now take the 1st alphabet of each word and then u ll get the strings name gradually.
