বাংলা নিউজের +৯২, #৯০, #০৯ নম্বরের কলে সাবধান! সংবাদটির উৎস বোধ হয় গতকালকের টইমস অব ইন্ডিয়ার একটি সংবাদ: BSNL warning over missed calls and SIM cloning যেখানে +৯২, #৯০ এবং #০৯ এ তিনটি কোডের কোনো কল ধরার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে মোবাইল সিমের সব ধরনের তথ্য কপি হয়ে যাচ্ছে বলে দাবী করা হয়। টাইমস অব ইন্ডিয়ায় মূল সংবাদটি প্রকশিত হওয়ার পর তীব্র প্রতিক্রিয়া হয় এর সত্যাতাকে প্রশ্ন বিদ্ধ করে, অনলাইন মন্তব্যগুলো দেখলে তার একটা আন্দাজ পাওয়া যাবে। মজার ব্যাপার হলো টাইমস অব ইন্ডিয়া এরপর সংবাদটির একটি পরিবর্তিত ভার্সন ছাড়ে(যেটার লিংক উপরে দেয়া হয়েছে) যেখানে সিম কার্ড ক্লোনিং এর দাবী সম্পর্কে বলা হয়েছে : "There is, however, confusion over this claim made by some BSNL and intelligence officials.
