The third Qubee Laptop Fair 2012 , with the motto “Enlighten up the technology”, ended on Saturday. This year’s edition hosted 12 pavilions and 60 stalls comprising of brands like Qubee, HP, Samsung, Computer Source, Smart Technologies, Global Brand, Computer Village, Executive Technologies, Excel Technologies and RM systems. In this Fair More than 3,000 laptops have been sold at the Qubee laptop fair this year, organizers said. “There were special discount offers on renowned brands like ASUS, Toshiba, HP, Samsung, Dell, Fujitsu, Acer and Apple. That’s why sales were good,” said coordinator of the fair Fabian Khan. A number of new laptop models also attracted customers, he added. The four-day event was organized by Maker Communication at Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon. Qubee was the title sponsor of the fair and Acer, ASUS, HP and Samsung co sponsors. According to the organizers, this was the 10th time they organized the laptop fair after successful completion of six such fairs in Dhaka and three in Chittagong in the last four years.
