For this purpose they use some sensory organs and brain. If the capability of sensory organs and brain is limited then the process of earning knowledge will also be limited. Thus Science will also be limited. So, let us first see, how the capability of sensory organs and brain is limited. Human being collect information by sensory organs. Different sensory organs can detect different things. Like eye can detect light, ear can detect sound, nose can detect smell etc. Light is actually electromagnetic radiation. Portion of its frequency band is directly detectable by eyes. Other frequency bands are also detectable by instrument. Like X-ray, Ultra Violet, gamma ray, radio signals etc. Think of a human race without eyes. What would be the scenario of human civilization today without eyes? Society, economics, judicial & ruling system everything would have been way more different without the ability to detect light. Again Think of a human race without ear. In that case the present scenario of human civilization would have been something else. Human knowledge is developed based on some “can be sensed ” things. In this universe there may be many things that “cannot be sensed” by human. There may be many things for what we do not have capable sensory organs and brain power. (for example: life & death) Let us consider a sensory organ “AA” which can sense something “A”. Let’s consider “A” is something that cannot be sensed by our regular sensory organs (even with instruments). If we had such kind of organ with our 5 regular sensory systems. (total 6 including “AA”). The scenario of human civilization would have been different today. The knowledge would also be more than what we know with 5 sensory systems. Now let us consider 3 more sensory organs “AA”, “BB” & “CC” which can detect “A”, “B” & “C”. If we had these 3 more organs along with our present sensory organs (eye, ear, nose etc.). The scientific Theories would have appeared in more different form which might have radically changed many of our concepts and assumptions about the reality. Even that may not be the end. There could be countless things like A,B,C,D,E,F………… we do not know how many. We may never know. You may think, human brain is very powerful, it has taken us beyond our sensory organs. Like we have discovered instruments that can detect X-ray, Ultraviolet, hypersonic sounds. We have modeled atom, defined theory of relativity…… All of these things required numerous scientific experiments. All of experiments were directly or indirectly dependent on our sensory organs. This way we are always dependent on our sensory organs. Scientists may give many theories. But to prove that we have to go for experiments and then our organic limitation will always be there. Human brain has a major limitation that “It cannot think beyond its experience”, so sensory organs will always be needed to prove our theories. I hope you have understood what did I mean by limited capability of sensory organs and brain. For this limitation no matter how much knowledge we earn it will always be incomplete. From this discussion we can logically deduce that there will be a limit of knowledge. We can call this “The Absolute boundary of Human Knowledge”. we will never be able to achieve the knowledge that remains outside this boundary. Even there may be many things inside this boundary which will be full of confusions and question marks. People become atheists by ignoring this limitation of human knowledge. They think this incomplete knowledge is enough to deny the existence of Almighty.
