Asian held with iron rods: Jahra police arrested an Asian expatriate in his 30s for stealing iron rods from a house under construction and referred him to authorities.
Sources say the patrols on routine duty asked the expatriate to pull over and noticed his uneasiness while speaking to them. They then checked the vehicle and found the iron rods in the boot of his car.
Asian arrested for drugs: Securitymen arrested an Asian expatriate in possession of a huge quantity of “Qat” and hashish in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Thursday evening.
The officers, while on routine patrol spotted a pedestrian late night and approached him, requesting for his civil ID. However, officers observed he was becoming confused, so they carried out a check on him and found the drugs. He was referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.
