What is all about the Operation Green Hunt in Central India??

যে কোন লড়াই শেষ পর্যন্ত লড়তে পছন্দ করি।

A group of Indian human rights activists have said that the Operation Green Hunt in Central India is to suppress the popular opposition to Indian government’s move to deprive the ethnic minority adibashis of the ownership of the mineral resources, followed by a decision to hand over control of the rich natural resources of the region to the corporate bodies. Interestingly, the government of India termed all the adibashis irrespective of gender, age and political identity as Maoists, even the ones voted for the ruling party or ruling coalition. Thousands of army troops have been deployed to crush these “Maoists”. Indiscriminate violence is taking place in the region often manifested by killing and violence against innocent women and children. Currently 34 districts of 8 states of India are under the operation Green Hunt. Amidst fierce attack and violence, there is a speculation that the Senior Maoist leader Krishanji received bullet injury in leg and shoulder and perhaps he has succumbed to injuries two days ago. Human rights activists observed the recent military victory over LTTE by Srilankan Army has strengthened the shool of thoughts that prefer military solution to conflicts to dialogue and negotiation that was followed by Bangladesh and Nepal in ending armed clashes in CHT region and Maoist insurgency in Nepal. The irony is that, Indians representing the higher caste Hindutma dominated political structure and the entailing intelligentsia do not find a point to protest here!!!!
