We know family and the parents are the two basic source of education for any children. Children follow what they observe from the family and parents attitude and absorve those in to his character. Its our responsibility to ensure the right education of our children. Now are we taught our children the right education? I think we are not doing that. Today i took my Jumma prayer in a mosque. I observe that many children with in the age limit of 10-12 year were in the mosque who were seriously busy in talking with their friends. And after the prayer the were doing rush in the stairs to come out from the mosque. Please no body portrait me as a religious person as i am not that. But as i have some sense of right and wrong, i am asking what we are taught to our children. How can our children can do such thing when we, even today, do not perform such acts. Its our parents who can educate us with the basic sence of right and wrong which we can not transfer to our children. Sometime we think our parents and great- parents know nothing. But i think they know something which we dont have even many of us have higher education from many places. To me, our parents and their parents acquired knowledge from the culture which is very rich. That education made them more knowledgable than us. We are now very eagar to follow some thing from the 3rd class TV shows of our relative country but not ready to follow our own culture. We think we will be treated as back dated if we follow our culture. How funny. I remember a dialogue from the film THE LAST SAMURAI where Tom Cruise was played the role of an army captain who came to train the soldiers of Japan Army with modern war. At the last scene of the film the young King of Japan said, "We can achieved many advancement in our life, science and education but we can not forget who we were, from where we come" This is the dialogue which we can not understand properly. I am steping far away from the topic i started. From todays incident i understand we are not educating our child with the right education. Its our fault, the children are doing wrong thing in the mosque. But what will happen if we taught our children that nobody should talk with each other in the mosque and this is the place of Allah, then may be the child get the idea about wha is right or wrong. I think we need to give the understanding of right and wrong to the children. Through this understanding, our children perhapes can take th right course of action when times come. I think its not very impossible to have the control onc again and educate our children with right education- the most greatest weapon we can provide to oyr children.
