Old Spice has doubled down on its faux 1980s soap ads, this time by pulling NFL stars Wes Wekler and Jerod Mayo into the silliness.
The new round of ads, which will hit TV on Thursday night, feature O. Henry-esque twist endings. Spoiler alert: There are snow globes and carnivorous lizards involved.

It's all part of an effort to evolve a hit campaign that relaunched the brand in 2010. Generally, the brand swaps out a new creative approach every few months.
"The main thing is giving our fans something that’s entertaining and engaging," says Old Spice brand manager JC Harvey. "NFL is an escape for a lot of our fans. We’re starting during the workweek and school week when people are going back to work and school."
