The 2012 Summer Olympics don't feel so far behind us, but the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, are already right around the corner, beginning on Feb. 7.
To help you get in the Olympic spirit, Mashable is hosting a live Google+ Hangout On Air Wednesday evening at 8:15 p.m. ET with a trio of American athletes.

The Hangout is part of the Team USA Media Summit happening this week in Park City, Utah. The summit's goal? To get American sports fans more familiar with some of the athletes they'll be rooting for in February. So we'll be focusing on how these Olympians got where they are today and what their lives are like both online and off.
We'll be joined by snowboarders Louie Vito and Elena Hight. Both of them expect to do big things in Sochi and are very active on Twitter. Then, as an added bonus, we'll also be joined by retired gymnast Chellsie Memmel, a member of the 2008 Olympic women's team.
