Watch NHL Coach Patrick Roy's Colossal Temper Tantrum

The NHL is back, and this season it's better than ever with fiery retired hockey legend Patrick Roy taking over as coach of the Colorado Avalanche.
Roy's just a couple games into his new career and, if recent events are any indication, the former player is having just a bit of trouble adjusting to the more even-keeled approach coaching requires. At the end of the Avalanche's game on Wednesday night, he threw an epic tantrum that quickly went viral online. As you'll see in the video above, Roy nearly destroys the partition separating his team from the opposing Anaheim Ducks.

Roy was upset by what he considered a dirty hit on one of his players. That justifies the raging freak-out in some sense, but Roy might want to adapt a more measured way of dealing with things — the NHL fined him $10,000 for Wednesday night's outburst, according to SI.com. But he probably earned some extra respect from his team for standing up for them and created a really solid bit of sports Internet. So what's 10 grand in the scheme of things?

Stewart's lair is Cubs-themed, but he's a Chicago Bears fan too. He'll typically have 20 to 30 people over for football games.
