The X Factor and the Got Talent franchise launched YouTube channels that will curate the best videos from their national TV shows and produce some original content, such as spinoffs and roundups that will include the best and worst auditions.
National shows such as America's Got Talent Indonesia's Got Talent, and The X Factor UK already have YouTube channels, but merging their content will likely draw a more global audience and increase advertising revenue for the shows' parent companies, FremantleMedia and Syco Entertainment.

Both brands already have wide followings both on YouTube and TV. The X Factor UK has accrued 1.7 billion views on the video site, and Britain's Got Talent has just over 1.5 billion. America's Got Talent's views, though significantly fewer, still number at 177 million.
Got Talent, which has 55 national versions, has seen 460 million people tune in across the planet since its launch in 2006, according to FremantleMedia's website. The X Factor, which launched in 2004, has garnered 350 million.
