Spending hours hunched over a tablet or smartphone can give most people an uncomfortable case of "tech neck." i90 Tablet Glasses aim to eliminate this bad posture by using a set of periscopes that reflect content right into your forward path of vision.
The glasses are made out of lightweight aluminum frames and two 90 degree prisms that redirect your view downward, while keeping your head upward. The i90 glasses work with tablets, e-readers, smartphones and even books.

With the growing number of gadget-users, there are obvious health concerns with poor posture. A study reported that the average user spends 23 hours per week texting, emailing and using social media, according to Business News Daily.
As the inventor of the i90, Matt Franklin calls himself a "gear head" who constantly watches movies on his iPad, and reads social-media posts on his iPhone. Franklin said he created the i90 glasses after his own growing frustration with straining his head and neck.
"I travel a lot for business and I’ve never worn them without someone asking about them, and where they can get a pair. I think that, after noise-canceling headphones, these are the coolest travel gadget there is," he told Mashable in an email.
However, the i90 glasses are mostly meant for stationary gadget use since wearing them while walking and balancing a tablet would be difficult. The glasses are wide enough to fit over regular glasses, and come in six colors: red, silver, gold, purple, rust, green and blue.
The i90 launched a Kickstarter campaign that has so far raised over $4,000. Those contributing $75 or more will receive their own pair of i90s by March. The campaign aims to reach $45,000 by Nov. 15.
