Google updated its promotional Android site, and there's a tablet hiding on one of the pages that might actually be the company's unreleased Nexus 8.
Nestled in the Apps and Entertainment section of the site — which was recently updated with the launch of the Nexus 5 smartphone — there's an image of a woman tapping what could potentially be Google's next-generation device. The device is running the latest version of Android, KitKat.

The device is a bit different than the current Nexus tablet model, with a slimmer bezel and looking smaller in size (about 8 inches). The tablet was first spotted by Verge forum user Britoid.
This wouldn't be the first time Google has snuck an upcoming product into promotional materials. When the company posted a video in September that captured the unveiling of the Android 4.4 KitKat statue at its headquarters, a staffer held in his hands the Nexus 5 smartphone. The video was later pulled after viewers spotted the product.
