Curious if your Adobe account was one of the millions compromised in October by hackers? A new tool launched by password security service LastPass will help you identify if your account is at risk.
Last month, Adobe confirmed hackers infiltrated its network and stole millions of customer emails and encrypted passwords. The company originally said about 2.9 million users were affected, but news later circulated that passwords published online were for about 150 million breached accounts.

LastPass, the same company that introduced secure tools to check if LinkedIn and eHarmony accounts were compromised during previous attacks, has rolled out an easy way to check if your Adobe account is safe.
To check if your account was compromised, enter your email address in this secure form. It searches a leaked list of over 150 million compromised Adobe accounts via a secure connection. LastPass says it does not keep any information on those who use the tool.

Adobe has advised users to update their passwords immediately and monitor all bank and credit card accounts for suspicious activity.
"The key takeaway is that whatever Adobe did to 'encrypt passwords' and other user data, it wasn't effective," a LastPass representative told Mashable. "It's evident in the data dump that hundreds, sometimes thousands of people use the same password hint — and many were hints like 'email password'. Combining an email address, a password hint, and poor encryption means that users are going to pay the price with more breaches."
It was recently reported that the three most popular passwords among Adobe users are: "123456," "123456789," and "password" — a sign that users are picking easy-to-guess passwords.
