Batman and Superman will come to blows in Man of Steel 2, which will be set in Detroit and is slated to be released in summer 2015.
Man of Steel director Zack Snyder let loose with the detail at a recent Yahoo event promoting the Blu-ray release of the first movie, though he didn't say whether their fights would be in the vein of brothers-wrestling-in-the-basement or more all-out brawls.bl

"Whether they're fighting or they become friends or they're friends and then they fight, that's the fun of making movies and playing with this kind of mythology," Snyder said in the video, below. "You get to sort of take this icons and see how emotionally they fit together. ... And of course there will be some physical conflicts as well."
Snyder also mentioned Superman villain Lex Luthor, though the character isn't officially slated to make an appearance in the film.
The new information comes a little over two months after the Michigan Film Office revealed the location of the movie. The film was announced in June at Comic-Con
Ben Affleck will star as Batman alongside Henry Cavill as Superman. Affleck is the sixth actor to put on the black cape, following Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney and Christian Bale. Amy Adams will also appear in the movie as Lois Lane. Diane Lane will be Martha Kent, and Laurence Fishburne will portray Perry White.
