The documentary film Zero Point will exploring the applications for virtual reality in the present day. The movie is projected on an imaginary sphere inside the Rift headset, so the user can move his head around the whole scene and feel like he is in the movie.
To give users a taste of Zero Point, Condition One's iTunes app shows off the technology used for shooting the movie.
The Oculus Rift is currently only available to developers, as its creators, OculusVR, fine-tune their creation with feedback. No retail launch date is available at this point.
