Dough-Re-Mi? DiGiorno Pizza Live Tweets 'The Sound of Music'

A year of attention-getting stunts paid off for DiGiorno Pizza after the Nestle brand's live-tweet of NBC's The Sound of Music netted the brand some social media buzz.
The brand began its commentary around 8 p.m. ET, at the start of the live broadcast. A few choice tweets:

As a result of the live tweeting, the brand was trending in New York on Thursday night. While the average tweet from the DiGiornio account receives retweets and favorites in the single- or double digits, many of the Sound of Music tweets got hundreds.
For DiGiornio, the tweets come as it's receiving more attention for its punchy tweets. The brand's live tweeting of football games prompted Gawker to liken it to a drunk uncle while The L.A. Times dubbed it a "smack talking, possibly drunk wiseguy."
