Time to ring for your valet and have them hang the tinsel: Downton Abbey is back with its third holiday special set to air on Christmas Day.
Here in the states, we're still waiting for the season four premiere on Jan. 5 — and we're still reeling from the losses. But this sneak peek of the Crawley's festivities won't ruin any surprises, of course. The show is notorious for keeping its tension-filled plot lines close to the chest.

While the abbey appears to be getting more regal, the video hints at an oncoming American invasion — much to the disappointment of Crawley matriarch Violet, played by Maggie Smith. The countess has no shortage of zingers for the Yanks, especially when it comes to Cora's American mother, played by Shirley McClain, whom she battles with the most.
It looks like the special is setting up a very exciting new season for upstairs and downstairs alike. Take a look.
