The Super Bowl is one of the most-watched events in all of sports, which it made it that much more embarrassing when the lights went out in the middle of the game's second half. While the incident spawned many conspiracy theories about its cause, we'll remember it for the opportunity it created for fast-thinking brands on Twitter.
The only thing that rivals the monstrosity of the dunk itself is the hilarious series of Internet reactions that the dunk spawned.
The NCAA March Madness tournament always produces thrilling, close games, and this Sweet Sixteen matchup between Kansas and Michigan was no exception. Burke's tough shot in the closing seconds of the game tied the score, and Michigan would go on to beat Kansas.
Westbrook and Durant are one of the most-feared duos in the NBA, and this short clip captures exactly why. Westbrook uses his insane vertical leap to make an impressive block, which leads to Kevin Durant storming down the court for a dunk so vicious that Golden State simply moves out of his way.
The Boston Marathon bombing shook the entire country, especially the city where the tragedy took place. In the Bruins' first game after the disaster. the entire crowd sang the National Anthem at full volume with the 'Boston Strong' logo displayed on the ice, and one could feel the city taking the first steps toward healing.
Facing a 2-goal deficit with 1:30 left in Game 7 against Toronto, the Boston Bruins looked all but done for. We're still not sure how he holds onto the ball and gets the shot off in time in this clip.
After San Antonio stole Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the Miami Heat responded with a blowout victory at home in Game 2. Tiago Splitter Drove for what looked like a huge dunk, but LeBron met him at the rim, stopped Splitter's momentum, and sent his shot out of there with no mercy.

Even with the knowledge that he makes it across in one piece, re-watching the footage from Wallenda's perilous feat is highly anxiety-inducing. While it turns out Wallenda wasn't technically in the Grand Canyon, he was technically in a whole lot of danger, and his poise in the face of certain death was very impressive.
Marion Bartoli knows how to go out on top. The French player got her first Major victory when she won this year's Wimbledon, and she retired just weeks later due to continuing pain from injuries. While her retirement announcement was emotional, it was great to see her win a major before having to say goodbye to tennis.

When Kevin Ware broke his leg in the NCAA March Madness tournament, the injury was so graphic that CBS did not show any replays of it.
