Norway has the world's fourth-best men's curling team, according to the World Curling Federation, but that's not nearly all.
According to our unofficial power rankings of curling team uniforms, the Norwegians are also number one in on-ice style — by a longshot. So long, in fact, that there is no number two.

Team Norway's curling uniforms for the Winter Olympics that begin in Sochi on Feb. 7 were revealed on Tuesday. Behold this promo shot of the splashy kits in all their garish glory:

The suits are an amazing fashion statement, to be sure. But they aren't without precedent. While the Norwegian curlers have now reached a new level of sartorial swagger that would make Willy Wonka blush, they've long pushed the style envelope.
