Filmmaker Nelson Carvajal created a supercut that includes titles from several Hollywood blockbusters, such as Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Jurassic Park, Forrest Gump and The Matrix. The video also includes a score by Oscar winner Hans Zimmer, who is known for his larger-than-life compositions. A fitting tribute for such a colossal category.
The first recipient of the award was the iconic film Star Wars, in which visual effects company Industrial Light and Magic had a significant impact on the film industry due to its work on the famous trilogy.
