Samsung has announced an "Unpacked 5" event for Feb. 24, the first day of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
No details about the event were given, though some outlets, including The Verge, claim their invitation mentions a flagship product (ours doesn't). It does mention "new products," suggesting there wiill be more than one.

However, the name of the event itself — Unpacked 5 — suggests a revealing of the long-awaited Galaxy S5.
Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 a few weeks after the Mobile World Congress. Instead of the flagship phone, the company announced its smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear, at a separate event during the MWC. This year, we've heard rumors that the Galaxy S5 would not be announced during the MWC, but we've also heard rumors to the contrary. To top things off, a report in January claimed Samsung plans to release the Galaxy S5 by April, which would make late February a logical time for the announcement.
