Want to spell out your feelings for your Valentine in big letters? Or maybe even a Shia LaBeouf-style apology? Just call Uber.
The startup's latest promotional stunt centers around skywriting and Valentine's Day. On Feb. 14, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time, Uber users in Los Angeles, San Diego, Dallas and New York City can request an UberSKY skywriting plane to write a message, up to 12 characters in length, for $500.

The promotion is part of a partnership among Uber, MasterCard and AirSign. So we guess that using MasterCard to pay for UberSKY will really earn you something priceless.
The company expects demand for UberSKY to be high, which has held true in the past. Other timely Uber promotions have included kittens for National Cat Day and Christmas trees. For those promotions, Uber has tracked your delivery sent a text message when it's ready.
If you're interested, try early and often. Uber is not accepting preorders; if you want a message, you must be ready to pounce as soon as the promotion goes live. Simply open the Uber app on iOS or Android and select the "UberSKY" option. Place your message, indicate your location, and if you're fast enough — and willing to part with $500 — your loved one will see a message way up in the atmosphere.
The company is also working with ProFlowers to fill Uber cars around the globe with roses on the 14th.
