So we spent 10 hours straight building the entire 2,523-piece set — one brick (and broken fingernail) at a time.

The house is packed full of references to the beloved cartoon, from Homer's famous pink car to Bart's Radioactive Man comic book. It's smaller details like these that cater to diehard Simpsons fans.
And while sitting down for 10 hours to do anything seems like a potentially mind-numbing experience, discovering the set's hidden details made it well worth our energy. Our only complaint: the lack of pink doughnuts.
The set launched in time for the show's 25th anniversary, as well as a special Lego episode featuring the folks of Springfield in brick form, which will premiere in May. Fans can purchase the house now for $199.99; an expanded cast of Simpsons mini-figures will go on sale in May for $3.99.
