Pharrell Williams is auctioning off his notorious brown Vivienne Westwood hat that went viral online after he wore it to the Grammy Awards in February. His hat became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter that night, in part because it became the butt of many jokes due to its enormous size.
The hat is now for sale on eBay. At the time of writing, the bidding was currently at $10,500 (the shipping is free) with 64 bids. All proceeds will be donated to the charity From One Hand to Another, Williams' non-profit organization that aims to give children tools to help them succeed in science, technology, engineering, arts and math. The auction will close on March 9 at 5 p.m. PT.

Among the jokes on Grammy night was this gem from restaurant Arby's:
Hey @Pharrell, can we have our hat back? #GRAMMYs
— Arby's (@Arbys) January 27, 2014
When Mashable asked Pharrell for his response to Arby's on Grammy night, he said, "It's cool, man. Thank you. I appreciate it," adding that "It's a buffalo hat. ... I just liked it."
The hat first made its debut in the Malcolm McLaren music video for "Buffalo Gals."
