"Are you ready for a perfect storm?" sings Katy Perry in her latest No. 1 single, "Dark Horse."
We could ask you the same question when introducing Peter Hollens and Sam Tsui's a cappella cover of that hit song. The two YouTube stars joined forces to create some harmonic magic in their colorful video, shared first with Mashable.
You may recognize Tsui's voice and face from Coke's new "Feels So Close" commercial and Peter's presence from NBC's "The Sing-Off" as well as their previous viral covers.

The duo recorded their vocals "miles and miles apart," Tsui told Mashable. Tsui did his part in Los Angeles, while Hollens tackled his side in Eugene, Oregon. Hollens then flew to L.A., thanks to money he raised on crowdfunding site Patreon, to film the video with Tsui.
Their video arrived one day after Perry released her Cleopatra-themed "Dark Horse" video.

Hollens thinks their version is a "cool little visual representation" of the song. Tsui also uploaded it to his channel on Friday. Combined, both have 1.5 million YouTube subscribers.
