Saturday may have marked a turning point in the extended and often violent struggle between protesters in Kiev, Ukraine, and the country's embattled president, Viktor Yanukovych.

Meanwhile, Ukraine's Parliament voted to impeach Yanukovych, and to hold early elections on May 25.
