MasterCard is partnering with Mashable to surprise startups at SXSW with one-of-a-kind vending machines. Instead of snacks or sodas, this machine dispenses awesome prizes, ranging from 250 one-on-one introductory phone calls with leading technology executives to computer hardware accessories, and hundreds of MasterCard prepaid cards. Guests tweet using the #PricelessSurprises hashtag to receive a special code and try their luck at the machine.
There will be a giant wrecking ball to swing on. ‘Nuff said.
HBO's lounge brings scenes from the upcoming show Silicon Valley — a satire of startup culture — to life. Their Mashable House lounge draws inspiration from Hooli, a fictional Internet giant in the show. Their space includes a fresh juice bar, charging stations, nap pods and show paraphernalia.

Grumpy Cat is back in the Mashable House for round two, so now’s your chance to get your picture with the Internet's unhappiest feline in the Friskies photo booth.
When guests tag their images with Friskies' hashtag #HolyShrimp, the company will donate cat food to a local Austin animal shelter.
