Leaked photos of an Amazon-branded controller could give more meat to the rumors the company is releasing its own TV set-top box with gaming functionality soon.
The six photos of the controller appeared on ANATEL — the Brazilian equivalent of the Federal Communications Commission — and were originally reported by the blog Zatz not Funny.

The controller has A, B, X, and Y face buttons, in a similar configuration to an Xbox controller. It has two analog sticks, a directional pad, and bumpers and triggers on the top surface. Visible on the front are the same kind of home, back and menu buttons seen on many Android devices.
The ANATEL listing shows the controller runs via Bluetooth, and the four indicator lights on top imply that's how many controllers can be paired with a box. The controller runs on two AA batteries, the diagrams show.
Given the company's recent decision to increase the annual cost for an Amazon Prime subscription to $99, it's reasonable to assume the company might want to offer more media for that price — and a Prime gaming service could fit the bill.
Amazon launched its own game studio in 2012, and in February the company also acquired Double Helix Games — which developed the recently released Killer Instinct for Xbox One.
