Twitter's refresh button is leaving users wanting more — but not in a good way.
That's been the feeling Tuesday from people who noticed that hitting refresh doesn't always surface the most recent tweets in the timeline. If you follow lots of people or have lots of tweets stored up, it may take multiple refresh attempts before you get to the most recent material.
While a handful of theories began to crop up about the reason for the change, a Twitter representative confirmed to Mashable that the issue is just a bug that the company is currently working to resolve.

Mashable staffers first noticed the issue Tuesday morning on both desktop and mobile versions of the service. On one occasion, a reporter had to refresh her feed seven times to get to the most recent of roughly an hour of backed up tweets.
The mobile app was most recently updated on March 11, but the issue didn't appear to surface until Tuesday.
We aren't the only ones who have noticed the bug. Users are flocking to Twitter to share their curiosity and frustration over the having to hit refresh multiple times. A sample of those complaints are below.
