i want to live simple and die simple "dr. Sajia afrin was not an ordinary doctor. She placed in two professional exams and was about to complete her fcps 2 soon. But she was murdered brutally in the very capital of bangladesh. Now we want to see wether the bacckbone of BMA is strengthen enough to protest these kind of serial violence against doctors and achieve the justice for her. Can BMA achieve a strong law regarding the safety and protection of doctors all over the country? Why BMA can not force the private hospitals so that they do not give night shift duties to women doctors if they can not arrange proper security. In this case the hospital authority should also be punished for lack of security and they should pay a handsome amount to the victim's family. I want to remind my forgetful collegues that this type of incident is not one. There was another such incident of killing a female doctor earlier. . And my urge to newly elected body of BMA that they should work for the security of all doctors, so that any ' kolimuddi' or 'solimuddi' can not come up with a lame blame like '' doctor has killed my patient by pushing injection' and beat up the doctors like hell (remember the incident of sbmc, recently). And if one does such a crime , he should get a huge punishment and if no guilt is found in part of doctors then his(doctor's) loss should be made up from the goverment/ or the institution where he works(as they failed to give proper security)..... And for my respected prime minister ( if this cry reaches to her ears!) - you tell us (doctors) to go to the villages and serve there and try to frighten us with punishment but can you answer one thing- when you and your goverment is unable to give protection of such a brilliant doctor in the capital , then on which ground we should go to remote areas (specially when the given facilities are such poor) ... Still we doctors are serving... Cause we are butchers , so we are shameless... We are blood suckers... No one needs to think about us.. So it is high time we think of ourselves on our own and become tough to snatch the rights we deserve.."
