Why everybody says everything is fair in love and war? I think : Every thing is fair in love and war because their not fair, war is when two sides are fighting over something that both sides want, on an empty battle field filled with nothing but those two sides and their weapons. The same thing can be said of love, that why they also say that love is a battlefield.
