Paleo Diet Recipes The type of power proposed by the so-called "Origin Diet" focuses on eating what they ate in the Stone Age. Proponents argue that our bodies are designed for that time. The justification that expose those who support these proposals is that in the 10,000 years that have elapsed since the invention of agriculture, natural selection has not had time to produce nearly optimal genetic adaptations of the change that occurred in the human diet. Opponents of the Paleolithic Diet, Stone Age, that of the cavemen or the Diet of Hunter-Gatherers believe they are not comparable human habits then to today, nor can be set parallels between the current life expectancy of that era, or between mortality from various diseases. The premise that sets the guidelines of these diets is the same: back to basics and eat wild plants and meats and fish, foods that are usually consumed during the Paleolithic. A period of time that lasted about 2.5 million years ago and ended about 10,000 years ago with the development of agriculture.
