At several daily newspapers I read the add of CAMBRIDGE COLLEGE, sector 9, uttara, Dhaka. Which claimed to teach maritime studies for 2 years for taka six lacs only! But their education does not give geruntee for job on ship. Because it is mandatory to have CDC (continious discharge certificate) for job on ship. As CAMBRIDGE COLLEGE is not affiliated by Department of shipping, Bangladesh, their students usually get no CDC. Therefore two years study and six lac taka is nothing but wastage at CAMBRIDGE COLLEGE.
So, Be careful before admitted there and must consult with some qualified maritime personnel (chief engineer, master mariner or captain of a ship). Interested can also consult with me.
