Announcing the Mashies Best in Show Finalists

It takes an innovative eye and a willingness to take risks to stand out in today's over-saturated marketing landscape. To stand out from the pack, you can no longer rely upon tricks that worked for your campaign last year, or even last month.
The submissions for the inaugural Mashies awards were filled with the innovation and risk necessary to generate buzz and leave lasting impact. We were floored by the caliber of the hundreds of submissions for Mashable's first annual recognition of the best in marketing, advertising and social.

On Wednesday, we shared the finalists for the categories we'd already announced. We're now excited to announce the contenders for the best overall awards.
These finalists truly stood out for their groundbreaking approaches to creating brand awareness, and our expert panel of judges felt they deserved some deeper recognition.

The winners will be announced during the award ceremony on Oct. 10 at New York's Altman Building. The evening promises to be a night to remember, featuring the comedic stylings of our host Godfrey (Zoolander, 30 Rock, Comedy Central).
