Stewart's lair is Cubs-themed, but he's a Chicago Bears fan too. He'll typically have 20 to 30 people over for football games.

Stewart uses a company called Control4 to manage all that entertainment in one connected system, making it easy to keep a handle on the fun.

He met his wife at a Chicago Cubs game, proposed to her at Wrigley Field and had a Cubs-themed wedding. All the memorabilia on the walls? He's spent the past three-plus decades collecting it. Now for some of the space's superlative specs. Located in the basement of his home with its own separate entrance, the masterpiece has 12 video displays and seven different audio zones. One of the bar walls features a 46-inch 3D Samsung Smart TV, with a pair of 40-inch versions on each side for watching multiple games at once. The area with theater seating features a 65-inch Samsung Smart TV, with 55-inch units on each side of it. Alternatively, a drop-down 92-inch projection screen can be employed during a big game.
His lair is also filled with an arcade of old-school video games and pinball machines, an air hockey table and a foosball table. It has two separate bar areas, beer on tap, a commercial beer fridge and a fully stocked liquor bar. The space can host up about 35 people "comfortably," McVicar said, with about 20 guests typically swinging by to watch football games.
"Instead of going out to the bars and spending money, I figured I would put a bar in my house and have my friends come over here and hang out here," McVicar told Mashable.
The project began around 2009, McVicar said. His architect brother-in-law helped out with the design, while Sean Geraty, the president of Sonic Low Voltage, handled the installation of all electronics. The TVs, audio, lighting and music library are all controlled through one system produced by a company called Control4.
As for the cost? McVicar says he "stopped counting at a certain point," but estimates a low ballpark figure around $150,000. It's a lot of money — and he says it was worth every penny.
