Not all new tech completely alters the way we think and live. Sometimes the coolest tech of all integrates seamlessly into our daily lives. And where in our homes are we most lacking in technology? The kitchen, of course. Three of the gadgets in this week's edition of Top 10 Tech go right into many of us food lover's favorite room of the house.
If you ever wished there was a Keurig for cocktails, the wait is over. Monsieur will make delicious alcoholic beverages in under five minutes — you just select the drink you want from the touch screen and place a cup under the machine. This robotic bartender also allows you to customize the strength of your drinks, or mix together your own.

If you're more of a beer drinker, have no fear — there's a gadget just for you seeking Kickstarter funding. The Brewbot will help brew a fresh batch of beer right before your very eyes. The device uses Bluetooth to connect to an app on your smartphone, allowing you to choose from a variety of beer recipes, and then lets you know when to add ingredients or remove the tub.
The kitchen of the future isn't all about automated drink machines. It's possible that in the near future you can heat up Tuesday's meatloaf and charge your phone at the same time. Yoshihiro Kawahara and a team of researchers at the University of Tokyo have found a way to use the extra energy produced by microwaves to power other devices. While the power produced is relatively small, this technology could help reduce our carbon footprint.
