8 Apps You Don't Want To Miss

A new iOS app called Spin gives a new take on video chat, providing what it calls “real-time together experiences” for groups of people on the platform. More than just a video-chatting app, Spin lets you share Facebook and Flickr photos or YouTube videos with up to nine other people; that functionality can be used for activities, such as showing the entire family pictures from your last vacation, or playing video of a YouTube fire in the background while you’re having virtual coffee with a friend.
Independent streaming radio service Earbits came to iPhone this week. The ad-free service works with independent artists to play their tracks, and help get their tunes out to the masses.
40% of food goes to waste. When you have leftovers from dinner, LeftoverSwap lets you offer them to neighbors who might be hungry. The app lets you hand out everything from surplus spaghetti to extra fruits and veggies from your garden. It helps you find food, and make new friends in your neighborhood.
Goldee is a new app for people who have Philips Hue bulbs in their homes. The app comes loaded with dynamic light scenes such as "autumn sun" or "Parisian street lamps," so you can tell a story with your lights.

My Time lets you book appointments for everything from acupuncture to an oil change through its app -- even when the business in question is closed. Some companies even offer discounts for making your appointment during an off-peak time.
Looking to get rid of your old clothes, so you can buy some new ones? Depop is a mobile marketplace for your stuff. Adding a listing takes about a minute, and all your sales are handled securely through PayPal.
