The U.S. government shutdown is still on, with no negotiation in sight.
In the meantime, Senate Majority leader Harry Reid inaugurated his Vine account by mocking Republican leaders for refusing to budge.
The Vine is titled: "I thought Republicans wanted to negotiate. But this is what happens every time Democrats ask for a budget conference."

The Vine video is Reid's first post on the social network. As of publishing time, he only has 14 followers.
