Justin Timberlake's Beard Steals Show in 'Inside Llewyn Davis' Trailer

Not much goes right for singer Llewyn Davis in the new trailer for Coen brothers film Inside Llewyn Davis.
Played by Oscar Isaac, he gets punched in the face, shoved against a car, finds out he might not get paid for his album and discovers he will soon be a father with no means to support a child — all while trying to make it in New York City's 1960s folk music scene.

The trailer introduces a star-strewn cast that includes a scruffy Justin Timberlake, black-haired Carey Mulligan and sarcastic John Goodman, none of whom seem to have the best relationship with Davis. Goodman's character tells Davis folk isn't music, Timberlake quips "not again" when Davis asks to borrow money, and Mulligan tells Davis she's carrying his baby by handing him a paper note that simply says, "I'm pregnant."
The previous two trailers present a similar story, and all are accompanied by a version of folk song Fare Thee Well (Dink's Song), sung by the film's star, Isaac, and Marcus Mumford of the band Mumford and Sons. Timberlake also contributed to the film's soundtrack, which features original work and classic titles.
This is the eighth movie from Joel and Ethan Coen. It is set for a limited release on Dec. 6 but will expand to more theaters on Dec. 20.
