Politicians, Celebrities Pay Tribute to 'Gettysburg Address' in Viral Video

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of former President Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, documentarian Ken Burns gathered an all-star cast to recreate the iconic speech.
The video, above, shows all five living presidents, as well as entertainers Taylor Swift, Usher and Conan O'Brien, reciting the historic lines from Lincoln's speech at the dedication of the Soldiers' National Cemetery in 1863.

The video is part of Burns' "Learn the Address" initiative, which he started to encourage Americans to record themselves reciting Lincoln's speech.
“It’s a complicated country with lots of points of view, but there is some glue that still holds us together and some of that glue begins ‘Four score and seven years ago,’” Burns told The New York Times.
In another video, comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Louis C.K. also recite the speech, interspersing it with their thoughts on the power of Lincoln's words.
"It refocused the American ideal from the Constitution to the Declaration of Independence ... That's why the speech changed America," Seinfeld explains.

Last month, The Colbert Report's Stephen Colbert worked with Burns to put a more comedic spin on the 16th U.S. president's words:

Burns' upcoming documentary, The Address, is set to air on PBS in April.
