Connected Underwear Will Turn You On

LAS VEGAS — Ladies, your lacy underwear is about to get a whole lot smarter. Connected sex toy company OhMiBod announced at the 2014 International CES show in Las Vegas on Monday panties that can be controlled by a partner.
In line with the wearable technology trend, the blueMotion massager ($129) aims to give women pleasure with the help of its accompanying iOS or Android app. Vibrations can be controlled for solo play or by another user nearby.

"It's a really fun way to control vibrations without anyone knowing what you're doing because the remote is on your phone," Brian Dunham, who founded OhMiBod along with his wife Suki, told Mashable. "Technology can drive couples apart, but this is using technology and gadgets to bring them closer together."
Dunham said he and Suki came up with the concept when they noticed they were spending too much time on their smartphones and less time being intimate. The couple has a full line of high-tech OhMiBod sex toys, including vibrators that align to the beat and rhythm of your favorite music, so the move into the wearable tech space was a natural progression.

The vibrator has a Bluetooth chip inside it, which slides into the front of the blue panty. The motor reacts to the remote app controls and takes advantage of built-in smartphone features, including accelerometer, touch screen and volume controls. The app has to be within Bluetooth range for it to sync with the panties in real time.
"We're working to bring long distance to the app now and should have that up and running by the summer," he said.
BlueMotion can also record ambient sound up to 60 seconds. This means a partner could record songs or say phrases such as "I love you" to create a unique vibrating pattern.
"The recording function gives you a lot of room for creativity," Dunham said. "It makes the whole experience completely customizable too."
The product, which hits the market in March, is one size fits all.

The OhMiBod is the original music-driven sex toy in the company's line of high-tech personal pleasure products. You plug in your iPod and it vibrates to the beat and rhythm of your favorite music. You use the volume control to change the intensity of the vibrations: the higher the volume, the more intense the vibrations.
Next came the Freestyle, which is both wireless and rechargeable.
The Freestyle G does exactly what you think it does: access all your pleasure spots, in tune with your favorite music.
As an OhMiBod customer, you can listen to and purchase OhMiBod playlists for your iOS device created by other OhMiBod users. Find them in the Apple iTunes Music Store.
OhMiBod developed the first app designed to remotely control vibrators. "Gone are the days of cycling through speed, intensity and pattern variations. With our app, users can change their experiences on the fly and in real time," says Suki Dunham, founder of OhMiBod.
Better Than Chocolate is a wireless, music-driven vibrator. When its wireless transmitter is connected to an iOS device, the vibe will pulsate to the music. Fun for couples.
More fun for couples, the Club Vibe 2.OH is a wireless and USB-rechargeable remote control vibrator. It attaches to a custom, black lace thong, so no one knows you're wearing it. Take it to a party or a nightclub and let your partner control the intensity, via the wireless remote control. The device vibrates and pulses to the club music.
The We-Vibe 3 is made for couples. It's fully waterproof, comes with a wireless charger base and claims to reach dual stimulation zones. It also comes with a remote control to change the intensity on the fly.
Bedroom Kandi is a high-end, intimate toy line by OhMiBod, designed by Kandi Burruss of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Kandi Kisses looks like a lipstick, but is really a USB-rechargeable vibrator.
Lelo's vibrators use Sense Motion technology. The vibration builds the moment the wand touches the body. It responds to a simple flick of the wrist or tilt of the palm by the person holding the remote control. Synchronized vibrations in the controller allow you to feel what your partner is experiencing, as long as you're within a range of 39 feet.
The Tiani 2 is also for couples, designed for women to wear when making love. Tiani 2 can be controlled with or without the remote and, like the Lyla 2, is wireless and rechargeable.
