Monday mornings could get a whole lot easier, thanks to a new gadget that notifies you if you forget to bring your phone and other daily essentials.
Called Bringrr, the gadget fits into a car's cigarette lighter receptacle, and uses Bluetooth technology to scan for missing items the moment you enter your car.

In addition to your smartphone, the car gadget can scan for any items attached to a BringTag — a small, circular tag that emits a Bluetooth signal traceable by Bringrr — including laptops, books and bags.
Bringrr is also compatible with Google Glass. Upon entering your car, the gadget will tell you what you're missing via Glass' heads-up display. What's more, users wearing Glass can assign virtual BringTags just by looking at a specific item, and taking a photo.
Currently, for Bringrr and BringTags to function, users require a car, but people who rely on other means of transportation can rest assured that the team is working on developing the gadget for a wider audience.
“One of the most influential and repeated pieces of feedback that we received was the massive amount of support from backers that don’t have cars, or use other methods of transportation that do not have the AC adapter,” Bringrr co-founder and CEO Aldo Beqiraj told Mashable. “Initially, our focus and positioning of the devices was based around not driving away without your things, but we now are broadening our focus to suit a more general audience.”
Beqiraj and the Bringrr team started prototyping the device in October 2012. Since successfully completing its Kickstarter campaign, the team is focusing on further developing and optimizing the product. It plans to start production this May, and aims to ship Bringrr to backers this summer.
When Bringrr hits shelves, it will mostly likely cost $29, and BringTags will be in the $19 range; however, final prices ultimately depend on manufacturers and distributors, Beqiraj said.
